GEOFF CLARKE
President and CEO
Geoff Clarke is President and CEO of GreenCore Composites and most recently was President of the former OCE organization Materials and Manufacturing Ontario (MMO). Prior to MMO, Geoff was a founder, Chairman & CEO of AT Plastics Inc. a company formed through a leveraged buy-out in 1989 and went public in 1994. Prior to this, he held a number of senior positions at C-I-L, including responsibility for its plastics business, and positions in R&D, and sales and marketing. Geoff is a past director and chair of the Canadian Plastics Industry Association, and has served as Chair of the Advanced Design and Manufacturing Institute (ADMI) and as a director of the Centre for Automotive Materials and Manufacturing (CAMM). Geoff holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Alberta, and an MBA from York University.

SAM HASAN
VP Marketing & Business Development
Sam Hasan is Vice-President, Marketing & Business Development and was most recently, Executive Vice-President, Films & Packaging, AT Plastics Inc. Sam has over 20 years experience in the plastics industry. He was a founding member of AT Plastics prior to which he worked at C-I-L in various roles including managing the converter business. Sam is past president of the Plastic Film Manufacturer’s Association of Canada and the Canadian Plastics Institute. Sam has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a graduate degree in business administration.

DR. MOHINI SAIN
Dr. Sain is Director of the Centre for Biocomposites and Biomaterials Processing, Faculty of Forestry, University of Toronto. He is also cross-appointed to the Department of Chemical Engineering. Dr. Sain is the lead inventor of platform technology licensed to GreenCore. His research areas include nano-biocomposite processing, industrial bioplastics, and developing cost effective technology to use renewable raw materials for industrial products. He also works on isolation and surface science of cellulose nanofibres and is leader of the AUTO21 Renewable Materials project. Dr. Sain has several patents in the area of natural fibre composites, has published over 170 refereed journal papers, and recently co-edited a book on Cellulose Nano-biocomposites published by Oxford Press. Dr. Sain serves as a board member of the Canadian Natural Composites Council (CNCC).

PETER BOURGEOIS
Peter is a member of the Board of Directors of GreenCore Composites, and currently is Chairman of the Board of Galvanic Applied Sciences Inc., and member of the Board of Directors of Circa Enterprises Inc. and Tyromer Products Inc. Peter is also a member of the Board of Management of the Centre for Materials and Manufacturing. Prior to joining the above boards, Peter was Group Vice-President and General Manager of PGI Fabrene and PGI Difco. Peter holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University, Montreal.
